Perry L. Mott, 83, Oblong, IL formerly of Loveland, CO passed away Saturday June 4, 2016 at 5:20 A.M. while residing in Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong, IL.
Perry was born on September 27, 1932 in Wautoma, WI. He was the son of Perry L. Mott and Dora (Keenlance) Mott. On June 21, 1958 he married the love of his life Audrey E. Scheidegger, who preceded him in death on May 23, 2010.
Perry worked as a blaster and in the maintenance department for the Ideal Cement Factory in Fort Collins, CO for many years retiring in 1987.
Perry served his country in the Korean War in the United States Army. His outfit secured the west coast of the United States with radar during the war.
Perry is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law Debbie and Bob Bright of Florida, Diane and Milan Hatch of Loveland, CO and Nancy Ulrey of Oblong, IL; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law Arlene Roth of Preston, ID and Laura Bell and Freddie Lang of Oklahoma as well as several nieces and nephews.
Perry is preceded in death by his parents; wife and two sons David and Gary Mott.
